What is going to change about our wars?

Goal: Learn to 3 star your defence weight in war. Avoid upgrading high weight defences first. Having a higher offence then defence helps greatly. No attack is fail if you learn from it. Wars are stress free! We have stress free but if we feel you are holding back our clan we may not put you into war
Stop upgrading core defences such as mortors, wiz towers, xbows, infernos, or eagle. Avoid those upgrades at all costs if you like to war. For example if you are a th10 with infernos and weak heroes and army troops and struggle to reach 2 stars on your mirror, than its time for you to opt out of war a little bit and upgrade only your army troops and heroes and stay away from upgrading major defences.
upgrade things like teslas, bombs, traps, air defence, sweepers, and lastly archer towers in that order.
Like usual Fridays is everybody wars, hero down, and bases catching up . this gives everybody and opportunity to practice their attack on Fridays.

Stop upgrading defences work on offences only!

To be able to war with us during the weekdays your base must either have a low war weight or you are able to consistently 3 star a base with the same defences that you have.
if you are having trouble 2-3 starring your mirror base. Go to the next TH lvl and only upgrade offence only. Do not buy any extra defences, bombs traps etc..
My suggestion is that all of you start focusing on offence and staying away from upgrading defence. For defence you should only focus on teslas, air defences, sweepers, bombs, traps, walls, an lastly archer towers.

Buying xbows, or infernos increases your war weight drastically. Upgrading mortors, wiz towers also increase war weight substantially.
Some people think they are going to lose a lot of loot during raids, if they have weak defences. This is not true if you are an active player. You may loose a lot of loot during a raid but you can easily make that up in 2 to 3 raids using goblin-archers-wall-breakers-giants combo hitting bases with mid or full collectors. You may have to trophy drop but you will gain loot on the way anyways.
If you are not part of our weekday wars, its mostly because your offence is weak compared to your defence. We suggest working on your offence and practice your war strategies on Fridays.

I am not in weekday wars What should I do?

Keep farming and stop! Stop! Stop! upgrading defences or purchasing your new defences. Just stop upgrading defences!. The more you upgrade your defences the higher the war weight which means that your mirror is more difficult to beat especially if you have weak troops. So make sure you upgrade you war troops first if you are planning to war on the weekdays. You can continue to work on walls, bombs, traps, and troops. and don't forget to upgrade your elixer, de, and gold mines to the max. They say teslas do not have much war weight so you can upgrade those. But to be on the safe side just keep upgrading walls, troops, bombs, and mines.
Once you upgrade mortors, wiztowers, archer towers, cannons, your war weight will be a lot higher. Same goes with xbows or inferno towers.

Do not buy xbows for th9, or if u already have them do not upgrade anymore until you can at least 3 star your mirror base with your troops.

find a war troops/strategy that works for you and keep upgrading troops/spells for that particular war troop you are using.
How do you engineer your base? If you just started your new Th upgrade it is a perfect time to engineer your base. Firstly do not upgrade any of your current defences. Its better not to purchase any new defences but if you do simply upgrade the new purchased defences to their last th level. For example as a th9 you will purchase an extra archer tower and wizard tower, tesla, etc.. upgrade those to th8 status. As a Th9 do not get xbows until your troops are strong enough to 2 or 3 star your mirror base. Keep upgrading your troops and walls, and slowly upgrade your defences. Do not get xbows untill you have maxed troops for war and your queen is at 10 and king at 15 and you can easily 3 star your mirror base. .
The same will apply to th7 and th8, Do not upgrade defences, only upgrade new defences untill they are your previous th levels. For example as a new th8, you upgrade all new defences to th7 levels.
If you are already upgrading your defences, stop upgrading!, the more you upgrade your defences the higher the war weight which means that your mirror is more difficult to beat especially if you have weak troops. But I will get raided easily if I do not upgrade my defences. There are 2 sides to this. Even if you are a maxed base you will be eventually 3 starred by a higher th anyways. A raid is a raid. Keep farming for loot. My suggestion is to boost your barracks for 1 straight hour or 2 a week and farm at lower silver or gold leagues. I could hit 20 bases in 30 minutes boosting. Your aim is to take about 50 to 100K on each base through the mines or storages and after about an hour of boosting you should have full or semi full storages for upgrades.

Please rush your base smartly!

If you are Th3 to th9 you can rush your base smartly, Its called engineering.
First Step. If you are th3 to th6, Unlock all troops, Upgrade to max archers, goblins, Wall breakers for farming. Upgrade max lightning, rage. For defenses Do not touch mortors. Keep them at lvl 1or lvl 2 If you can. if you have to. upgrade only walls traps and bombs, You will need to unlock Healer as dragons is what we want you to get next. Upgrade collectors
Th7 - Upgrade lightning, dragons, rage and than rush to Th8 , don't forget to upgrade goblins, and archers for farming. For defense to not upgrade any defences except teslas, walls, bombs and traps. Upgrade collectors
Th8 - Upgrade dragons to max lvl, rage, lightning, Do not forget to upgrade your farming troops goblins and archers. Upgrade teslas, traps, bombs, and walls, Rush to th9
Th9 - Get queen, upgrade cc, upgrade main spell factory, upgrade dark elixer factory, Upgrade loons, unlock lava, upgrade lava, get haste, upgrade lighting , upgrade haste, upgrade heal spell, upgrade rage spell, work on minion upgrading
If you follow this simple steps your mirror base should be 1 th lvl lower than you or most likey 2 th lvls lower than you which means easier wars
For farming just keep nexting until you see a base with exposed elixer, and gold mines, and just go at them with a goblin -archer combo . dont forget to bring a couple of wall breakers for mines that are within some walls. or you can farm with lavaloonion if you like to trophy push.
So essentially you are going to use a dragloon attack if you follow these steps.
However, If you want to upgrade ground troops, Stick with a ground troop you know. e.g. hogs, valkeries, golums. etc...

TH9 Lavaloonion strategies

For raiding I use 2 lavas, 15 minions, rest loons. 2 rage, 1 heal, 3 haste, 1 haste in cc and one lava in cc.
Find bases that have xbows pointing down or dead bases with xbow not working. Xbows that are dead do not have the rope attached to them
Attack from the side that has the least amount of resistance with sweepers. Line up the lavaloonions in a straight line, at the edge of the side of the base you are attacking. Drop lavas quickly making sure when you drop them you aim at the air defence. So one lava for each air defense. Use haste to get those loons to the air defence. Once the loons are close to air defence rage them.
Once 2 ads are destroyed follow that lava to the next air defence and deploy a lava to that air defence or the opposite one. Keep raging , haste spelling.
Use heal when you see a collection of loons at least 5 or more dying on the side you might need them the most.
I deploy minions and my heroes at the end, but you can try different variations. some like to use minions behind the loons.
Don't worry about the queen, the queen usually goes down after a few lava get popped. Try not to attack at the queen side first, you want to face her in the middle or last. .
